Sackville, New Brunswick

Part colour fiend, part hypothesis muppet, I learned to dye yarn in 2012 and immediately began asking "What would happen if....?" By 2023, I was up to my eyeballs in Canadian wool and in serious need of more studio space. In June 2024, I opened a working dye studio and yarn store in the little marsh town of Sackville, New Brunswick, where I spend my time dyeing, teaching, knitting, and spreading the word about the joys of good Canadian wool.

I hand-dye a range of Canadian wool yarns, primarily for hand-crafters interested in lively colours on non-superwash, Canadian yarn.  My yarn bases range from fingering weight Suffolk/ Rideau Arcott (great for colourwork knitting) to Rambouillet and Rambouillet crosses in several different weights.

Gobsmacked is all about complex, joyous colour, hand-dyed in one-of-a-kind gradients and lively tonals on Canadian wool.
