Sunshine Coast Wool raises Icelandic sheep for coloured fleeces and breeding stock, in addition to operating a wool brokerage business.
Their goal is to support small sheep farmers on the Sunshine Coast of BC Canada, from Port Mellon to Lund. They buy freshly shorn sheep fleeces and wool that would otherwise be discarded, and determine how a fleece can be used – for Artisan Wool products or Wool Pellets.
