After helping her Dad with his flock for years, Shauna struck out on her own purchasing a group of mixed breed sheep in November 2019.
Shauna had already been knitting for a number of years and after the second shearing of the flock got tossed into the manure pile, she decided that the fleeces had a better purpose than compost. Shauna dug into some past course notes of needle felting and was certain she would be able to do something with the flock’s wool. An obsession with fibre began!
The products Shauna creates are from the heart. She loves working with the flock and they make everyday special. They produce these amazing fleeces that Shauna can transform into many different beautiful pieces of artwork. The fleece changes with each animal and each year, it allows endless possibilities for learning and creativity.
