We purchased our 10-acre property in spring 2015 as a way to start anew with a homestead dream to be self sufficient. We put in a huge raised bed vegetable garden and put in perimeter fencing.

We got our first four bred sheep in the fall and awaited excitedly for our fist lambs. We had the sheep sheared upon their arrival and being "self sufficient" minded, imagined what we could do with the wool.

I learned how to wash and card wool, and how to use a drop spindle and spinning wheel. All of our wool products are grown and processed on farm.
