Kim Doherty-Smith - slowspunliving@fleeceandharmony.com
Belfast, Prince Edward Island

In 2017, Fleece and Harmony was started in an effort to utilize the wool that was sheared from our flock of 85 pastured ewes and their lambs. We wanted to produce yarn suitable for hand knitting and other crafts.

Since then our own flock has become smaller, so we now purchase wool from other producers here on Prince Edward Island. As our yarn business grew, we needed more fleeces and we now process about 6000 pounds of raw wool a year in our mill. All of our wool is sourced on Prince Edward Island.

We spin yarns from lace weight to bulky which are made in our mill from 100% Canadian sourced fibre. All of our mill made yarns are dyed by hand using Greeneer Shades dyes.
